Charles Boyce grew up in Green Bay, WI and now resides in Mount Pleasant, SC. He is a computer engineer who has an interest in photography and art or a photography artist with an interest in computers. Whichever description used, he creates digital art based on photos of subjects he finds interesting, taken at home or while traveling.

The photos are either printed as taken or processed within Adobe Photoshop or Corel Painter software programs. Using mostly self-taught skills, he transforms photographs into digital art by first using traditional darkroom editing styles and then he may apply other techniques to each piece. Works printed on canvas, or “giclees” are then further customized with textures and oil paints to create unique pieces. All work is on archival-quality media using pigment inks.
